Masters Merchandise: 2023 Garden Gnome
This week, visitors in Augusta fought over a garden gnome. Admittedly, a garden gnome wearing a Masters polo shirt and shorts, and carrying a trophy sleeve from the Masters, is a highly sought-after item.
The Masters garden gnomes have become an annual tradition in Augusta. And the 2023 edition is one of the most coveted items.
"They have these gnomes, which are about 40 cm tall, and they only put out 700 a day," Bob Casper, host of Utah Golf Radio, which is participating in the 2023 Masters, told KSL Sports Zone. "So if you are there early in the morning, you have a chance to get one."
Even if you live in Augusta, you have a good chance of getting one.
"Oh, they sell out every day. They sell out every day from the first hour," Casper explained.
According to Casper, the retail price for these gnomes is about $70. However, some lucky customers who take the gnomes home sell them online. On the online sales site eBay, the 2023 Masters gnomes are being offered for almost $200.
